Amanda Hirsch is a Florida native as she grew up in Lake Mary, FL. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2004 from Florida Gulf Coast University. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital for 4 years. Although she enjoyed her time in the NICU, she wanted to help more people, that is when she pursued her master’s education at the University of Central Florida. Amanda graduated in 2012 with her Nurse practitioner degree. She has been a Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse since 2012. She now resides in Oviedo with her husband, and three children. She joined the practice of Allergy and Asthma in 2018 after she had personal experience with her oldest child being diagnosed with multiple food allergies and atopic dermatitis. She understands first-hand how much these diagnoses can impact quality of life, but she is determined to educate and help others to understand their diagnosis and continue to live their best life.
